Hand-blown Salad bowl by Michael Ruh with hand-carved spatulas from Kirsten Hecktermann. This beautiful, utilitarian bowl is crafted from pure, optical-quality glass. The lip folds inwards to keep the salad leaves firmly in place when serving.

Kirsten Hecktermann, a designer born in Kenya, produces unique spatulas and spoons using salvaged offcuts and hardwoods (Myule or Neem) from a small workshop in East Africa. These types of wood have healing and antibacterial properties.
