- Unique wall lights made from a blowing into a paper mould
The former Selsdon Park Hotel in Croydon has been re-wilded and re-energised and opens this spring to greet its guests for the newest Birch Hotel in Selsdon of the Birch Community.
It has been a pleasure for our Studio to play a small part in the considered refurbishment of this 17th century mansion with the first rewilding design project by our friends Sebastian Cox. We have made more than 300 of these handmade glass lampshades for the guest rooms . They are made from recycled glass and blown into a mould made of paper, each one individually blown and made by hand here in our London studio.

It’s been great for us to create a large volume order that will be staying “in the neighbourhood”, just 30 minutes from our south London workshop door. All project development and design in collaboration with A-nard Studio and Holder Mathias Architects.
Watch here to see how create these unique shapes.

We are delighted to share our part and that of others in the making of ‘The Circle of Benefactors’ installation at Imperial College. We were commissioned by for Pentagram Design for Imperial college to create the glass discs for the modular installation which was inspired by the cellular structures of a living organism.
